We have become obsessed with making tofu. We have heard from a few of you as well that you are making your own tofu. Please send us pictures of your tofu!

Here is our latest experiment: we pressed shredded carrots into the tofu. We haven’t cooked it yet. We think that maybe if we slightly cooked the carrots just before pressing them in the tofu, they would stick better. The top layer of carrots comes off a little when the tofu is first put in a bowl to cool. It wouldn’t be a problem if we just went right ahead and baked the entire thing. But, it would get pretty messy if you cut it up to make a stir fry or other dish.
