This is the last in a series of posts about our recent installation at Flensborggade 57, a project room art space in Vesterbro. We have been excited to share The Alphabet Tower with you over the past week. The project is many things from a building experiment in recycled materials to an art piece in a gallery, but it’s primary function is as a play gym for children. When we worked with our daughter to make it, we wanted it to be a functional and stimulating experience for her and other kids. At the opening last Saturday, we were super excited to see that it worked! Here are some images of all the small ones rocking out on The Alphabet Tower.

We have really enjoyed the process of making this structure and sharing it with our daughter and others. We hope to make more experimental play places in the future. Thanks to Joshua Mittleman and Flensborggade 57 for making this happen. Also, if you would like a double sided full color poster printed on FSC paper mailed to you, just email me at bonniefortune [at] gmail.
