City Bee Habitat

Worldwide, industrial agricultural uses the European honey bee to pollinate crops. Starting in 2006, there was a notable decline in honey bee populations, commonly referred to as “colony collapse disorder.” Researchers speculate that this may be due to stress or disease from the overuse of honey bees for pollinating crops.

Tofu with kiwi and small red peppers

Today’s tofu pressing was with kiwi and small red peppers. I also embedded a large chunk of kiwi in the center of the tofu. We cooked the tofu in a sweet and sour sauce with even more kiwi.

We are still a long way from the Mythological Quarter in Copenhagen and continue to take long walks around Berlin. We came across this sculpture of a bear yesterday and really enjoyed it. If you look closely, you can see a bee carved into the face of the limestone.
