I found a new poster in the neighborhood this week to add to the Søger Lejlighed (apartment hunting series). This one was a great find because of the personal photograph of the people searching + a nice drawing + a heartfelt letter. This flyer is one of my favorites so far.
It reads:
We are a calm and quiet pair 25 and 28 years old looking for an apartment in Copenhagen. Starting this summer we are both students at the RUC in Environmental Biology and International Development. We are both active (running, biking, and sailing) people but we have put our wild youth behind us and are happy to set up a cozy home. I have experience with setting apartments to rights and we would take an apartment that need some work done. We are looking for a 2 or 3 room apartment in the general area. We are looking for a place by the 1rst of August. Our SU (student financial support) gives us the possibility to pay rent up to 6000 Dkk per month. We are happy for a good neighborhood with cultural diversity. If you know anyone that would be open to renting their apartment, please take my number. We are really grateful for your help.
